...of grooming. Sometimes these pesky humans just don't know when to leave well enough alone!
The best place in the house for sleeping is the bed. It annoys me a bit when the humans insist on sprawling all over it when I'm trying to get some sleep, but they usually give me enough space.
Some humans seem to think it is scandalous that I sleep in the bed, but my humans know that if they lock me out of the bedroom they won't be able to get any sleep themselves because I have a surprising amount of bulk when it comes to flinging myself against the bedroom door. In any case I think they know that it is undignified for royalty such as myself to have to resort to such antics for something which is my right...
The male human's lap can be a very comfortable place to take a nap. The female human's lap is not as good to lie on, usually.
This is my official portrait and one I am well pleased with. It was taken by a human well known to my humans. I was a bit annoyed during the sitting because I was resting and the human kept poking its nose in my face, and I fear my annoyance shows a bit in my face. But I think it adds a regal, imperious air to my expression which well befits a royal feline.
